busteif.............You mentioned a Kremer intercooler on yours. Mine was built in October 1984 but differs from yours. Who knows what happened with these specials. When I got in touch with Kremer GMBH for details relating to my tune up specs and recommended settings other than the build sheet that came with it, the answer was, "both the Kremer Brothers had recently passed away".[img] So do you have information as to your preset boost limits and ignition timing as our motors seem to have similar cams etc and were built at the same time ( 1984 ) by business that worked together for many years on similar project specials. Thanks

Paul that wheel is a Vitaloni wheel not a stock 930s wheel, the Vitaloni is a rare piece and that one is a beauty.

Hey Linc,

Well aware of that being a Vitaloni.. However, on the earlier 930S (non 505/506)cars ordered through Special wishes, this was the wheel supplied through Porsche.

Although, I have seen 1 or 2 early 87 505/506 cars with this wheel as delivered.
Was also available special order through the dealer network.

I have one in my car.. and as well.

Actually need another, anyone have one they want to sell?

78 930 unmolested, alpine, california. i can't keep putting money into keeping this masterpiece
pristine. i have no clue how you gents find the money. maybe keeping all the kids and grandkids alive and kicking has something to do with it. maybe, some day, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Fingers crossed but I have had little maintenance since I have owned her...Only thing that was fairly costly and that was do to my ignorance...A fuel accumulator and that was shortly after I brought her home...+ Misc stuff...Now that I have mentioned this...I have cursed myself..LOL

Otherwise 2x a year oil change (4k a year), Brake fluid as well.. Transmission change with Swepco..Started taking her to the track in the last few years...She loves it and hopefully I will get her out 7+ days this year...So brake pads and tires next...

DIY is your best cost saving...Having a local forum to assist is a goldmine...

Peace all

meteor gray is a GREAT color (especially w/ those wheels)!!! If I were to order a new 930 today, it would be really difficult to pick another color.
