Would you like replica Fuchs for your early Turbo?

Vote here if you would like to see them made...around $1000 a pair.

Take a look at the other threads Moses has started.

17" Fuchs replica color preference. A poll.

I would jump on replica forged 17" fuchs. I'm not overly excited about cast.

Aren't Lindsey Racing wheels only $1300 a pair now (and not cast)?

More like $700+ per wheel or $2800 per set. You can send in your own 6" wheels and drop $125 per wheel on that price.

My mechanic (who I trust as an absolute genius, was factory trained at Stuttgart, preps the local races cars, been doing this for 30+ years, etc) strongly warned me against the cut&welded wheels. I forget exactly why (I need to talk to him again about it). I know many are tracking these wheels, with no problems. But, with my luck, I'd be the one that gets stung.

That said, based on everyone's experience on this board, I'm still tempted. I just wish someone would produce a forged 17" fuch.

Looks like the repro product will really be for a narrow body. Too bad. If there was a source for wider 930 specific wheels that are of good quality I would weight the option pretty heavily against Lindsey wheels for the street.

Rdane, are you suggesting $500 a piece or $250 a piece? $1000 an end or full set?

If $500 a wheel, that is getting in the neighborhood of some good wheels.

Good question Luke. For $2k that's up there vs $1k.

I'd like to see the RSR in 9'' and 11'' (that's what my BBS race wheels are now). I know you could go with a 12'' in the rear, but a 10'' might push it up front.
