Looks like a huge pipe coming from the BOV on the side of the intercooler. Must really effective and LOUD too.

Sure is pretty, but I don't really like the design of that inlet plenum/tank on that intercooler... much more efficient designs out there IMO. Nice looking car tho

If you look at how the two inlet pipes are plumbed into the front plenum, the air stream from both turbochargers points right at each other. Not efficient and optimum in my opinion.
When designing an i/cooler, one has to take into consideration how the charge air will be dispersed across the length of the core for optimum cooling efficiency. The idea is to get the charge air to spread across as much surface area of the core as possble, for best cooling effect from the ambient air going through the core. If you look at the design of the C2T, RUF, Kokeln, BlownSixDesign, Protomotive i/coolers, all their inlet tanks are designed for best possible air dispersion across the core for optimum efficiency ![]() I'm no fluid/air dynamics expert, but to me, that inlet tank design sux.

It might have internal baffling to prevent both airstreams colliding. Given the quality of the car and the rebuild ( I've heard over AU$150k has gone into it) I reckon they'd have thought of that.

could someone tell me on a stock 92 turbo intercooler the 7/8hose coming from the intercooler above the waste gate line and running to a vacume diaphram that comes off intake via. a hose could be discarded if air injection is removed? I noticed on some cars the hose barb comming off intercooler is caped off. thanks
