Have you considered moving your stock fronts to the rear ? This is what my 930 has.

No...I did not...because I wanted to get more rear braking as I got on front.....and you probably know that 930s are braking a lot in front till wheel stop....

I looked Cayenne calipers and wondered if they could be ok...?...

This seems to be a very popular mod for our pre-89 turbo's.

What do you have up front, Nathan? 993TT or 996TT units?

How does it perform?

Merv, my car seems to have 928S4 calipers, painted red of course

They seem to work great on the road (no track days yet). I found the bias to be great too. Infact I find the car is setup great as a whole. I guess I will treat him to a alignment and corner bal. at some time if he behaves but I think it will be fine.

935Turbo, very nice. Are they 993TT brakes?

Cool Nathan - when I eventually tackle my brake upgrade, I want to move the front 930 units to the rear and run 993TT or 996TT units up front. I think that would suffice

Serge,
Where did you find your front adapters, is that the stock 930 hub and what rotor are you running? I have a pair of the 996tt fronts and would like to fit them to my 82 930 as well. Thanks
Tom

Aren't the big red brakes supposed to have less feel around town and be better for the track?

Send a message via Yahoo to Lukesportsman
Could the rears be for regular (non 930) arms? Maybe they swapped the adapters in error?

Merv, are you running 930 rear arms? I agree that frt 930 calipers would be great for rear applications, but can you do this with Carrera arms?
