60k mile service

This summer I'm going to need to do 60k mile service. Adjust valves, replace spark plugs, setting the timing (I'm very rusty at this), will be picking up a LM1 to set AFR, etc...

Doing the work isn't really a problem, especially with you guys to help me out if I run across a question. So I was wondering how not having that little stamp in my book for 60k mile service going to affect the resale of my car if I ever decide to sell it?

How important is that little stamp to a potential buyer?

** I'm not planning on selling, just curious.**

Do all the work the yourself then take it to dealer and get them to change the oil and check it over and then stamp it. You'll save a fortune but in the future prospective buyers will want to see that all important stamp. I know I did.

Ok, but wouldn't they have to check to see if the valves are in adjustment to stamp it? That basically means they would be re-doing a valve adj. Or would they just take my word on it? Also, the paperwork would obviously show that at 60k miles the dealer just did an oil change even though there's a stamp in the book. So now that stamp isn't worth much, is it?

If you are capable, do the work yourself and note that in the book...I know of several dealers that I would not want their stamp in my book!!
