Are you going to just stick on an air filter on the compressor side and clamp it to the neck? If so...any moisture concerns?
No the air filters will be mounted in the dead space between the firewall and intercooler

I wondered to myself if anyone ever thought about cutting up a set of B&Bs (what I run on mine, too) to produce a twin turbo.
You have to massage the rear motor mount for the passenger side turbo up-pipe. in this pic we are trimming and fitting. We welded reinforcement across the top of the mount spanning the area where we clearanced for the turbo. I don't think I have a pic of the finished mount though

I am doing something similar at the moment.
The heat exchangers I am using started out life as GHL units modified by iA. They will now be modified for a second time to fit my application.

Interesting muffler setup. I have thought about doing something similar, the exeption being that the turbo to muffler piping will go straight to the muffler and the exhaust will exit with a short 90* bend dumping right behind the rear tire.

Good idea. My customer wanted the exhaust to exit out the original bumper exhaust openings. Your idea is cool.

Thanks for the additional pictures. A very nice ride coming together. Should be mighty fast on a track and a heck of ride on the roads.

Twin K29's...where are you hoping for the power curve 4k+? Will it spool these at street speeds? Did you bump the compression with JE's to help off boost driveability on the street?

Will you have to run race gas? Will 93 octane work?

93 will be fine... We started dyno tuning the car a few days ago and filled the tank with 93.

The customer will use this car on the street only.. so we are tuning it with premium (93) in mind.

If it were a track car we could push the limits of the engine quite a bit more...Since it is for street use the tune will be on the conservative side.

That is one of the real beauties of EFI.. we can write a street map for this car... or a sprint race map... or an endurance race map.. or a map for fuel efficiency.. or even a drag race map.. And load the map that suits..

The dyno pulls we did were just preliminaries.. looking for leaks.. hot spots.. and making sure it all works together... The tuning and power pulls will commence next week

What is the price tag for turning a stock 3.2 into a turbo? Ballpark range? $10k?

Wont commit prices to a BBS....we need alot more information regarding your intended use..

Best bet would be to call Bill late tuesday .. He is at Road Atlanta right now, describe what you are looking for and he could work up an estimate..

$10K is a start..

Jack O's car was my inspiration in buying a longhood and I think its beautiful.

THIS CAR though is just as beautiful in its own way. Mechanical beauty in all its glory. If my TT piping comes out even close to that, I'd feel very successful. All those bends look like a musical instrument and I bet it sounds sweet.

So will it be street legal or strictly track?

Seems track only to me.

Great set-up...oh to dream.

That is very similar to how my coil packs are mounted as well.

The entire package looks slick.
