the headers were an old set of B&Bs that we cut up. So in a way they are custom.

Bill will probably post tomorrow with all the details.

Nice work...I could tell they looked like heavily surgically worked on B&Bs, a few questions:

1) Does the car in question have to mufflers? The reason I ask is due to the very sharp and looks like a small diameter 180degree turn into the muffler, which could potentially be a bottleneck?

As an aside Burns Stainless makes these low profile mufflers (they weigh as low as 2lbs and cost about $220 and avail. in 5" O.D). I am going to try later them this spring, looks like they would have worked inline in your application negating the need for the 180degree turn:

2) Are you going to just stick on an air filter on the compressor side and clamp it to the neck? If so...any moisture concerns?

3) What turbos are you running?

Beautiful work...and would love to read the specs on this car.

Wow, that almost makes me motivated to go out in the 4 degree morning and get working on my TT project.....almost.

SPECS! Please IC size, EFI, cams, P&C's, turbos, wideband, EGT, etc.

Just beautiful plumbing and work to get all that in a stock look body work. I hope you don't love your rear bumper too much . I bet she'll sound incredible when those WG's open up at shift. No BOV's for safety?

That is wild! Is that a special garden hose high-output return line into the oil tank?

Craig, look up Coast Fabrication. It is my understanding that they make the mufflers for Burns. I am running a 10" ultralite muffler on my turbo and am very pleased. Weighs about 2 pounds.

Looks great! Funny, last time I was under my car for an oil change, I wondered to myself if anyone ever thought about cutting up a set of B&Bs (what I run on mine, too) to produce a twin turbo. You've answered my question!

So... I'm so glad the Pelicans approve. The engine is a 3.4 with J&E pistons, Web Evo GT2 cams. The heads have been ported to 41mm. in and out. Haltech E6X controls the ignition and one row of six 72 lb fuel injectors. (EFI of course) Carrera intake. Custom intercooler. Core size is 12 by 24 by 3.5. We welded in divertor plates inside the intercooler end tank to make sure 80% of the air funneled to the center of the core. Trick is we gave the intercooler two outlets as well feeding into a custom made throttle on the Carrera intake. The turbos are custom built KKK units. Compact K-29s The two should flow enough air for 800+Hp. I need to post the coil board. It is pretty trick as well. Hopefully Tim T will post more pictures soon.

We tried a Burns muffler on a Real race Mini Cooper that was prepared for Grand Am cup. The muffler gave out very quickly. We chose the muffler we did because it didn't have any packing to "Burn" away like the Burns muffler. When we sent the muffler back to Burns they did nothing for us.

Craig,
I am away from the car this weekend. However, it looks very similar to
125shifter's set up on Rennlist. (first 2 pics on this thread)

http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/showthread.php?t=262375h

The difference is that I use the Zork tube outlet from the turbo sans curved pipe and clamp the Coast muffler to that. I am using a 3" straight through ten inch muffler packed with Stainless wool. I would probably go a little longer if doing again, but sounds great with no "noticeable" power loss from the zork.
