Which Intercooler
I've done a search for intercooler info and am still confused. I have a 79 930 with k-27, B+B headers and duel outlet exhaust. The car is street/becoming more track. About 5 or 6 DE's a year. I would like to replace the stock intercooler. I like the Blownsix product now that I understand they have fixed some of there fitment problems. True? I like the 965 intercooler but what are the modifications I will have to make to my 79 930 to make it work? Is the 930 intercooler truly a plug and play? I have more ?'s but this is a start.

You can get a 964T style IC made by B&B that is supposed to be excellent for the 930. Stephen Kaspar of Imagine Auto sells them.

Blown6, Kokeln, and B&B for 930s are bolt-ons. Don't know about the others.

I believe just about all the aftermarket tuners sell the K&N air intake assemblies. Cost is somewhere around $400.
