Car has been for sale for quite awhile now .. believe since late 06.

Nice to now know a little more history on it. Ok, so who's getting it?

Glad everybody got a little laugh on Barney, hell knows he aint laughing...
Im willing to bet that it would cost around a grand to yank that interior and throw some salvaged black interior from La Salvage. As far as the exterior is concerned, I would do something crazy like a flip-flop paint job. I wouldn't really care about the resale as the original color seems to make it less marketable.

I seriously thought about buying it but in the end I don't like the looks so much and I hate the interior, and on top of everything else I think the car is probably quite heavy (even though it has all that horsepower), which may help explain the so-so quarter mile times.

And the exterior paint has to be shot if it is a track car.

Plus it does have 100k plus miles.

The owner was the founder of Freddie's Club Casino who died a year or so ago. That car has been there ever since. I remember when they first got it and talked with Bruski at Park Place about it.

I agree with the color...eww

the 1/4 mile times are the result of driver skill, horsepower is there and the weight is not an issue with the P/W ratio. Pulling good times on the strip is not as easy as it may seem, skill trumps horsepower to a very large extent

The car still looks heavy to me. I like cars that weigh as little as possible so if I had this car I would probably just want to take weight off it. Which would be another project.

Just my two cents worth.

2300lbs with a/c ? What did dump.. ?

Funny, seems like every time somebody puts one of these cars on a diet the A/C is the first thing to go. Doesn't weigh that much it seems.

PO of my car pulled the A/C.. completely, but decided to leave the comfy seats which weigh a ton to me.. Recaro model "C" w/leather, electric , w/heat.

1/4 mile times in these cars is a combo of: Driver skill, Driver skill, light weight, big power, 500 lbs. rear springs, good alignment, and did I mention driver skill?

My AC parts that got removed weighed 75 lbs, and I left the blower fan in the smuggler box and all the under the dash controls so I can still blow cabin air on myself when it gets hot. The air comes from that hole in the floor below the passagnger footwell.

So total weight is even higher. I left stuff in the car.

That seems like a decent chunk. In fact, it is the most weight you can remove at once. No other upgrade, including a fiberglass bumper, does as much at one time.

And it is free to remove it.

Weight removal is psychological for me anyway. I don't like weight, period. I want it gone.

With all that power he needs more rubber in the rear. I don't care who you are, 315's aren't enough (except for Eddie Bello) to keep from lightin' them up in EVERY gear...we have a similar power number and from what i've been hearing I'll be roasting my 19 x 14 rears like a pig roast if i'm not careful.
