I just did my first valve adjustment on my 80 930, My full respect to all porsche mechanics. i broght the idle down and repaired any little things i seen in this adventure. the car rans excellent but noticed when i shut it off it trys to run on ? any ideas?

It should run on for a few seconds to burn any fuel left in motor, exhaust etc. It's perfectly normal.

ya pretty much , the idle was like 1100 (hot) so i cranked the bypass screw and took it down to 950rpm . you think i have to just reset the timing?
