Craig -

What wheel are you using? I like the dish on it. Look similar to the prototipo but with added dish and maybe (hopefully) a thicker rim.

MOMO Mod 7 - a great wheel, super light which make it a bit less mass to stabilize -

I think that's called can-can red. Lobster is a little lighter shade than that.

Damn... How many 930s do you have? That steering wheel is awesome but the LED boost gauge is what what caught my eye. I once chased one on ebay but I fell well short of the wining bid. Something like $800!

Wow I'm also noticing you got adjustable boost on that puppy. Whats the story on this car?

To many!!!! they say excessive compulsive behavior is a possibility........Now onto the inquiry. This boost gauge says Luderuck Porsche on the face and the key lockable boost control are original factory parts. These items, along with some of the engine mods, are from a parted out 70s race car and were installed in the mid 80s. Like I mentioned in a previous post get your 930 cars and parts before the masses wake up and realize a better experience awaits them after the Ferrari,Aston, vintage race eligible Corvette/muscle and some of the lesser developed Porsche models delusion. Those prices are already on their way to the moon.

I don't have a slant nose. Ive just got a regular 930. However from the age of 14 to 19 I worked as a clean up guy for the local Porsche dealer. I pretty much drove about every production Porsche up to a 993 twin turbo. The two exceptions are a 356 and a 959. I use to talk to the tech whenever I got the chance. He was old school and cut his teeth in long hood 911s.

Sounds familiar other than my first Porsche was a 356 in 1964, and would definately like to get into a 959. Now just to keep this thread alive let me indulge you all with my first hotrodded and modified for PCA events but returned to street use 1979 930 SN , still original factory paint, color to sample, Fly yellow .

Sure, Craig can tell ya ;-)

WEVO G50 shifter - one of the best things you can do for a 930 (wheter it's a G50 or a 930 4 speed)
Completely transformed the shifting of my car!

That means that it would work on an original 4spd (78-930) as well - w/o mods?
