Actually, it may not be working that badly... not good, but not horribly shot either. If I supply .9 bar, it keeps on hissing without opening the valve. But the second I bring it up to 1.1 bar, the valve pops open ~2mm.

The leak of boost air from the I/C is not good, but at least it isn't the other way around and causing an overboost situation.

Needless to say, a Tial is in my not-so-distant future. Now, who to buy it from... (and what colour)

I guess you don't love your car as much as I love mine.

[QUOTE=spuggy;3206134]I don't know if they're any use for a factory wastegate because I've never taken one apart, but a bunch of the aftermarket 46mm wastegates appear to be copies of Tials - and some of those vendors are selling diaphrams for them:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/46MM-WASTEGATE-DIAPHRAM_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33621QQitemZ15 0109940920QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD2V

I got one of those for 80 bucks works great was cheaper that even buying a diaphram for my stock rusty stuck pos. it came with a 5 pound spring which is great for using a boost controller which I also installed.
