40mm Tial Wastegate on a 3.0SC??
I know that the norm for all you 930 turbo guys is to go with the 46mm Tial wastegate but as I am collectively gathering parts to convert my 3.0SC motor over to turbo and am thinking since I will be going low boost that 46mm may be overkill and that a 40mm will probably work fine.
So my question is do you think that a 40mm Tial wastegate will be suitable and does the 4 bolt 40mm Tial gate bolt up to the 930 headers? BTW, the plan is to use the 930 Euro headers that I already have and a K27 turbo. |

40 even 38 will work fine, cant help you with the mounting.

The 40mm won't bolt up to the 930 headers... different flange pattern. You might want to try looking for a flange converter for the TiAL wastegates. Someone like ATPTurbo might have them.

I supply 38mm with the kits that we offer and you can upgrade to the 46mm if you wish. let me know if you need a 38 or a 40 I am a tial dealer
