How far 930 speedo goes

Hello, please dont laugh, im not very formular with the 930.
I could get an 930 from 5/77 but the speedo shows 150mph max. I think this is from the normal 911 isnt it?
Im little bit afraid of odometer rollback, on the other side, the car has more than 130000mls.

Thx for helping a 930 rookie
Tom

You are in luck. I just happen to have a pic right here:

That is from an '87. A '77 may very well stop at 150. I'll look around for another pic..

Hey Bill,
great reaction, its unbelivable here in. Thanks.
Thats the question, when does the 76/77 930 stops. I think there must be a difference.

Tanks for helping
Tom

I believe it does stop at 150 for a '77, but I'm still looking around.

I've seen the 200 mph speedos on Ebay. I thought about getting one, but I figured it would just be harder to read since everything would be smaller.

Is yours an OEM or aftermarket gauge? That's interesting that the 'gray market' cars didn't have KM/H on them.

I believe it is OEM, if you look around 11:00 in the photo, you'll see a 911 part number.

Oh, I see now. I missed that. They probably changed over in '86 to the KM/H & MPH combo.

Cool

I`ve got a 350km/h Ruf speedo in my car.
You can order it from any Ruf dealer.
