Fuchs question, very strange

Look at these wheels. The front one is a 8JX16 part# 91136102045 and has the fox stamp. The rear is stamped 7JX16 part#91136102044 and also has the fox stamp. Look at the difference in width. The 8" appears normal but the rear that is supposed to be 7" is far wider. It measures 10.25" outside lip to outside lip. Remove 1/2" per side and that still leaves about 9 1/4". Is this a modified wheel? These were on the car when I bought it. Any ideas?

7X16 ???

Fuch never made a wheel that looked like that wide pup.

Many thanks to Bill (bkreigsr) for pointing me in the right direction and to Gary (Sonjay) for giving me more details tonight. Apparently, they are one set of ten made by Gary Stratton for the Le Mans Classic. They are 10" wheels made by cutting off the back of a 6" wheel and welding it to the front of a 7" wheel. They were made for the RSR they ran but were never run in the race. Only 2 sets ran in the race and he has those. Kind of cool.
