Can new OEM head studs handle 12psi?
Assuming all other things are properly addressed, are new, OEM, coated steel head studs going to be the weak link on a supercharged engine seeing up to 12 psi? I had 3 of the old studs break and already have a new-in-bag set from our sponsor. I thought I recalled hearing no problems with the straight steel items but search on this forum under "steel studs" comes up zip.

Sorry, to clarify the 3 that broke were on an 83SC case that is being re-used on this supercharger project. They didn't break under boost.
