Inlet manifolds for 930 Turbo modified

I am in the process of upgrading a 3 litre 1977 930 Turbo, and am looking at changing the fuel injection and induction system from the K Jetronic to a EFI and adding an inter cooler, and possibly going the twin turbo route.

I have seen that some modications make use of the 3.2 intake manifold, complete with the associated throttle body assembly, and wanted to get some input on whether this was the right direction to go and where to obtain a suitable used unit, complete with injectors etc. If not, any suggestion on alternatives and where to source them?

You don't need to go EFI to hit that target.

The K Jectronic system is giving problems, and future upgrades are planned where the flexibility in being able to tune more accurately with a programmable system has advantages. (The horsepower I am talking of it at the wheels)

You could go to EFI but use the stock manifold at that bhp to the wheels.
You simply replace the injector blocks and fit rails.

Pat Williams Racing could fix you up with them.

EFI

Pat Williams rebuilt my engine and installed my EFI system. I detailed the results in this thread.

You can get your target results with the stock manifold. Using another manifold means many other parts must be custom fit. i'd try to stay with the stock manifold for those HP#'s.

Thanks for the link, looks great. This is the manifold I am looking for.
I have spoken to someone who has a modified one complete with injectors that I can possibly get.
