Flames...

I did not realize how big my exhaust flame was on every gear shift until I saw this clip during my last race...

Over rich mixture, good for looks/keeping things cool, bad for HP, usually the perfect setup(or at least close to it) throws a short bluish flame between shifts,cheers, Candy.

Yes... Prior to qualifying we had set up a nice AFR curve on the dyno running at 1.4 bar (500 RWHP). On qualifying day the EBC failed so I had to run with the wastegate stock spring rate at 1.0 bar. The whole AFR curve shifted down by who knows how many AFR points so the car obviously ran in an over rich condition.

Despite this over rich condition, the car did very well and ended up in an overall 4th place.
