Timing, fuel, boost, heat - plus it depends on YOUR setup as to where timing is as well as a must-check of the AFRs.

You also must know what the timing is at 4-5k.

$2.40 per gallon to mix race gas is CHEAP insurance - I must run an avg of about 96-98 on the street - with full race gas for track days.

Garage
Craig,

Yes.. I will take your reply as a recomendation and check my timing at 4-5K tonight. Should I unplug the Vacuum Advance? What total advance should I see @4500 RPM In degrees? I didnt check it at that high of an RPM. It did advance at lower RPMs with the light on it.

Unplug -- and plug off the line and port.

You might see around 25 degrees, you do need advice from others who don't have my setup as mine is much different with the dual plug setup and other mods I have-

Yeah, but it seems brighter on the right side of the garage. Then again, I could be completely wrong. It's happened once or twice.

Its "Blood Orange". The car was special factory ordered "Paint to Sample". The original owner was one of the biggest Porsche collectors in the US at the time. This color was a popular Porsche color in the late sixties/early seventies.

The car is all original and has only 4500 original miles on it. More pictures to follow. A true time warp. The car even has the original Porsche factory issued key pouch.

thats awesome, reminds me of the car I just sold, I was terrified to drive for fear of something happening to the original paint. that's a beauty you have. I would love to see it up close.
