Cool EFI fuel system.....

Hey guys,

What are your thoughts on using factory fuel pumps with my EFI conversion. Can it be done? Do the OEM pump have horsepower limitations like the CIS system does?

I am trying to figure out budget wise if I can wait a litte bit before I go to the Aeromotive A1000 pump.

Thanks..................................Chris

Yes you can use the factory fuel pumps. Depending on how much HP you want to extract from your engine they will work fine

I'm using the factory pumps on my EFI setup. EFI runs at a lower pressure than CIS and the pumps can therefore flow more fuel

I used the factory pumps but I did replace 100% of the fuel lines. I used the OEM lines through the tunnel and braided stainless for everything else.

David, what types of connector/adapters did you use to go from where the factory lines exit the tunnel to what I pressume is -6 braided?

Cheers

For the -6 braided lines to stock lines I bought fittings from www.batinc.net

If I remember correctly, they're 14mm/-6 fittings.
