That boost gauge is wicked. Its measuring boost and ported vacuum I believe.

So, is that gauge measuring before & after the throttle plate ?

In the video it's hooked up to the plenum under the throttlebody and also to a port about 4" above the throttle body.
That day on the track the hardware/software designer of SDS was riding in the passenger seat because he wanted to look at some datalog runs to see how I had adjusted the AFRs after installing 72lb injectors. Afterwords he put his video camera in my car and posted it on utube. That was the first time tracking my car with the new intercooler and 72lb injectors. I ran out of time but I intended to reconnect the boost gauge to display pressure drop across the intercooler. |
