Is there any way you can make a Toronado tranaxle look like a G50? Ha!

While that comment was meant to be a joke, the use of a tranny such as that would give your turbo some long legs to pull on the torque band with.

I don't see a way to put the power you make to the ground using a Porsche transaxle without spending a boatload of money.

What you need is 500 people to donate $100 to you. I'll donate the first hundred.

Or see if they would sponsor you.

Yes Mama give me one of those looks and ask, what about that other thing, well thats a Hyundai I replay

The whole thing start with Pinks and then those 996 really got me going

The last time the car was at the track was on 2005, after setting the car back to racing trim she ran 14.50 @ 125 first pass in 2 years, a few tweaks were done and on the second pass she ran 11.2 from there she ran 10.90,10.87 and 10.77 the car again was running flawless on that day.

The bad news was that we got cut because the car was going to fast and they wanted us to be in the 11 sec class, hard to run 11S when you can run 10s

So now we must find more power and new gears

I'd side with Guard. PHii does not stand behind their work. Two VERY differerent companies in my mind.

I have deal with both of the company's, so far so good however my issue right now is to find somehow, somewhere, someone that will look outside the box to make this happen, back on the day we had to go all the way To Australia to get our intercooler, today you can easily find them for under $300, now I must do the same with this gear box

Juan - did Eddy's C2 tranny last?
Why won't it work for you?
What are the weak points?

I'm not sure if the C2 is a bolt on without huge changes, I remember that he had much thicker axles and those could not fit our car, so based on that I don't thing this could work ? but I much prefer to put a custom gear set that is just for the 1/4 mile racing.
