Well it looks like I lose another screw :rolleyes: I'm looking for help in the transmission Dept.

The box will be for 1/4 mile use only, It has to be able to reach 150 + mph on the 1/4 mile.

I have a G-50 my questions are;

Where can I purchase a G50-52 box

Who can build me a set of custom gears ? and what gear ratio could you use.

We are going to change the turbo size and transmission and will attempt to go into the 9s

Any help could be greatly appreciated :)

Juan, Powerhaus 2 is your best bet. Be ready to pay $$$$$$$$$$$$$

See if the vw guys can help you out. Also, see if the gt40 replica guys can help you, Ive seen custom gear sets and G50 trans for sale in there classifieds section.

You can always go w/ a sequential box.:D

they use the g50 trans or a sequential box w/ there tt ford v8 motors pushing 800hp.

Paul Guard is very respected here in the UK. Richard Chamberlain who raced a 930 in the UK Porsche Open series used him for parts and they lasted much longer than other companies parts.

Oh, BTW the 930 flamed everyone 993tt's,996tt's,GT2's everyone.

Eddie has gotton away with giant horsepower on a stock C-2 trans in the past. Powerhaus 2 as mentioned before is the $h!t, they are really good.

Whats Mike at JB Racing doing with G50's these days? Have you ever spoken with Dave White on this issue?
