Question..

What makes these 962 heads? They have 930 part# with 1985 production cast? Just curious.

As for the .. "gaskets "ring" steel diameter 103 mm int / 107,4 mm ext, deep gasket basement 10/10e"

I think what you're looking for is a flame ring, or nirosist ring. This is something the machine shop will need to make for you..the cylinder edge will need the same groove for the head to mate.

Paul Weir was selling 962 heads here and on ebay a bit back.

FS Set of 6 factory 962 racing heads

No such claim made. Only providing a reference to what 962 heads look like, as advertised by PW. One of his pictured shows a part number with "962....".

I'd contact Todd @ Protomotive as they use Nerosist rings extensively in their big HP builds. They typically use an aluminium sealing/flame ring which has the same expansion characteristics as the OEM cylinders/heads, which is very important.

I'd also try Performance Developments, Neil Harvey:

Neil has an amazing range of skills and knowledge regarding Porsche Turbo engines...specifically the racing engines.

Thank you all for those first answers.....

Yes...!.....I bought those heads from PAUL WEIR...2 years ago....they have been machined a little bit (gasket basement )....and polished (exhaust, combustion chamber, valves in and out)..

Cylinders are brand new...but Mahle is not delivering gaskets...!!!

Here are the problems.....

You need custom/aftermarket sealing rings made up for those heads. You'll need to get the grooves measured and have appropriately sized rings made up. I doubt they'd be an off-the-shelf product

You could contact Flatout Group http://www.flatoutgroup.com and speak to someone at their Gaskets division. They make all my custom base shims and head gaskets and specialize in small run and are very reasonably priced.
