Actually, I thought I would drive to Huntsville one Saturday. Though you are certainly welcome here in Memphis! How is the BBQ in Huntsville? It is famous here in Memphis.

I'd hate to have you drive 6 hours for a 30 minute video. Maybe we could meet up on a future fun run.
BBQ joints are all over down here as well. I'm from up north so I don't have enough BBQ experience to give you a good answer. There is a fellow I work with who goes to those BBQ contests you see every now and then. The stuff he makes is awsome!

You know, I've always wondered how much the hot intercooler in city traffic stop and go impacts off-boost performance. Anyone actually mounted a little fan to the top of the intercooler just to reduce the heat soak issue?

I'll be doing just that.
You'd be surprised how cool it stays in those conditions if shrouded - according to my Andial gauge.

It's all about the shroud, isn't it? Get the whole area working. I've got a stock 930 IC and a spal fan just about covers the whole IC area, and I'm adding a monster fan with a shroud to the condenser, getting the whole thing working and preventing the heat soak. I'll install that spal on the IC.

What do you think about the fan interfering with flow at speed? I'm thinking of wiring a diode in series with the fan so it freewheels when the air is driving the fan at speed. Thoughts?

It is. Plus having he right IC for your intended use - track or street.

Shrouding a stock IC with fan - looks like you have A/C for adequate non-cavitation air flow so you might be ok.
