O2 sensor question
Right now I left my O2 sensor unhooked and used a Gunson gas tester to set the CO%. No problem and it runs fine. But I was just thinking about hooking up the O2 again. If I do I would like to replace it with a new one. So I was wondering if any of these O2 sensors are compatible from this thread? Or are these only for the motronic system?

I would like to test my CO. I can get the CO reader on ebay for $200. If you don't mine could you walk me through the process of checking and setting? Thanks

I could but it may be better just to read the Gunson Manual. It's an easy read and very straight forward.
http://www.gunson.co.uk/item.aspx?cat=0&item=1835 Here's another thread as to setting the CO% that's worth looking at. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/911-930-turbo-super-charging-forum/339788-f-mixture-co-setting.html?highlight=Gunson |
Bill, thanks for the info.

Bman, get a wideband AFR fir inside the car. www.imagineauto.com can fix you up with an innovate XD-16 or similair. Check out http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products.php
You can then monitor your CO throughout the whole rpm & load of the engine rather than just at tick over. |
