That's pretty much what my new exhaust system is.
The ID of the entire system is 3" with the 180 bend being slightly more. You get just enough sound deadening with the muffler to take the edge off of the volume.

That's what I'm running now, have been for about 12mths, It's still sounds great under full throttle but for that extra bark I'd like to do away with the muffler completely and have a small pipe straight out the turbo with an immediate 180 and exiting the stock location.

so, after your wife is comfy, are you still going to get a Zork?

I am wanting to pull the trigger on one as I get my car up and running again...... the only thing that bugs me is my insurance policy will deny a claim if I have any mods done to the car. They have pics of the GHL exhaust. Oh well, I can bolt it on for a day down at the track and then pop it off again.
