Do I need to be part of a ew club now (High mile club)??

There you have it gentlemen, 100000miles on her.. I really wanted to hammer it and hit full boost for the picture, but I had my wife and her best friend in the car.. would not of gone over well!

Car is still running great, in fact I saw numbers as high as 350rwhp on Saturday night with my Gtec.

Mark can you give me the run down on what you did? Did you put in a K27? Headers/exhaust? 1bar spring? Intercooler, etc. It sounds like you have it all sorted out and dialed in now.

Very Sweet!

Hey Mark,

What's Gtec? Is that a shop south of Eglington??

I'd love to find out what my RWHP is!!!!

350 at the wheels is awesome! You'll have to take me for a spin one of these Saturday mornings.

James,

Gtech is an accelerometer (www.gtechpro.com/). It basically measures F-forces and calculated with your teh weight of the car you put in, you get your HP. You can borrow mine. On one of my drives on the QEW, there is a weigh station (for the big trucks) on third line and they are closed on weekend, but te scales stay open, you go over it and it gives you your total weight. I'll be at the meet this Saturday.

Cool. I'd definitely like to take you up on that! I'm pretty sure Ruby weighs 2475.

It's a but scary now, given all this street racing business. Now any cop (in Ontario anyway) can decide to just impound your car at a whim with a loosely defined "street racing" rational. Oh, and they'll take away your license too.

I'm scared to bring my revs past 4 in case a cop hears the exhaust and decides I'm street racing...

Oh cool, the GTechPro also measures 0-60. I'm a bit too nervous to do an off-the-line test with that ol' 915 in front of the 3.6.

Oh, hold on.. am I even allowed to be on this forum given that the Varioram isn't turbocharged? Yikes.. sorry guys! I'll go take my 3.6 conversion and blab somewhere else... Wayne won't give us our own forum, so I'm a tourist.

75'930cab, she is a small person, and pretty hot too. Married though, sorry.

James, If I see you Saturday, you can borrow it. I like to open my car up when I'm out of the city and mainly in the evening/night when no one is around. Besides, you seem like a responsible adult (read LOTS of sarcasm here), what police office in their right mind would convict you of such a ludicrous charge!

As for your place on this forum, uh yeah, get out of here you lousy putts.. just because you have a cool mix breed of car/engine that hauls ass! Just kidding

I think he means that if you guys were in the 930, the best friend must have been small enough to fit in the rear kid seats

...unless she was sitting on someone's lap

Wink OK this thread is too good.....

to be left alone by me.

First of all, I was hoping that your French / English dictionary was malfunctioning, and you were now a member of the Mile High Club.....but alas......you just have a used Porsche....lol...

Be careful loaning the GTech Pro to James....he may actually cause it to explode, overload or jam.....I have been in his car!!!!!

OK, that's all.

See you on the weekend.

350hp eh........sounds nice!

Firstly, that wife best friend's comment had me stumped all day long, so thanks for the clarification.

Secondly, HAHAHAHAHHA

Thirdly, weekend plans are still up in the air and I'm not sure about the BBQ. I do know that Amanda and Finnegan will be north of Peterborough. I'll either be there of in Brockville. I'll let you know..

i think the gtech doesnt take into consideration the rolling resistance and air resistance.so on the dyno your # would be higher.i have one but havent played with it in a couple years.last time i played i was getting 11.5 or 11.6 at 127mph in the 1/4.my friend brought it to a drag strip and it was something like off my .1sec.another story about it was i did a gtech run and had a vid camera.at the end of the 1/4 the gtech said 127mph but on the vid it said i was doing 120 by the speedo.so i borrowed a gps.speedo was wrong gtech was right.im going to the drag strip in a couple weeks i hope.see how she goes.

I like mine. I think it's fairly accurate although I never tried mine on a dyno. I saw 333 RWHP which sounds about right for the mods I have. Your weight needs to be inputted as accurately as possible.

Those Gtech's need you to input how hard or soft your suspension is too.

I think I may get one,

is the weight sticker on our cars pretty accurate if we've not done any mod's to our car?
As far as suspension hard/softness... not sure on that, yet my 930 is totally stock, so I am sure i'd be able to find that information out online (probably somewhere on these boards)
