930 Tach with boost question

Anyone have expierence wiring up a 930 tach with a turbo conversion? Is there a sensor that needs to be wired into the intake to measure pressure? If so can it be wired directly or is there some voodoo wiring that has to be performed?

I just purchased the tach from a fellow Pelican and would really rather use this gauge instead of clustering up my dash.

Yes, you can wire directly. It is only one wire coming from the sender, and the sender grounds to chassis through it's body.

My gauge is a 79, this is from another post I wrote:
Sequence on the back of the tach/boost gauge from drivers side to passenger side is brown (ground), Brown with white (boost sender), Black purple (tach input), red (+12 volts)

That is great, I also checked my 930 intake and it appears to have the sender already installed
