Another Wheel Fitment Question ?
It must be wheel fitment question week ;-)
I'm trying to figure out if a set of 17x7.5 ( 35mm offset ) and 17x9 ( 15mm offset ) Kinesis K17 will fit my '87 930 with stock spacers. If not, what spacers will be required ? Any ideas ? Thanks, Robert |

Those are about stock Fuchs width and offset except the fronts are 1/2" wider. They will fit without any problem. Why would you want to change out the Fuchs with an equal size wheel? YOu can run aftermarket Fikse and Kinesis etc... with 9" front and 11" rear easily. Then you can run wider tires.

The reason I want to run these is because I already own them and I am planning on selling the car. They are currently on my 84 911 and want to put them on my black 87 930 Cab. I talked with Kinesis and they abruptly said they won't work. They will only work on the 911 and not the 930. Hopefully they gave me wrong info.....

Does anyone know what the actual factory offset is on the 7" & 9" factory turbo Fuchs ? I can't find any info on this...... I'm hoping it will be the same as my Kinesis....

23mm front 7x16
15mm rear 9x16 Rears will be the same Fronts offset pushes them in just less than 1/2". The extra width however, will add 1/4" inside and outside. Overall, they will fit without a problem, but they will be tucked in 1/4" more under the front fender without spacers. 1"=25.4mm |
