996 rims

does anyone know if 996 turbo rims will fit on an 85' 930 turbo without spacers.
Rims are 18x8 ,offset 50in the front and 18x11 offset 45 in the rear

I have 996TT wheels on my 85 ROW 930.
The rears will bolt on with the factory rear 28MM spacer, you will have to add a set of 28MM spacers to the front hubs along with longer studs... then the front wheels will bolt on maintaining the proper offset.

Have you already bought a set of these wheels?
I think they are my favorite style of turbo twist wheels.

E-man what is intailed with replacing the studs? I need to replace a couple on one wheel due to thread damage. I looked in Bentely's manual and they were taking off the brakes and damn near everything in the wheel well. Thanks

I just replaced the studs on the front of my 930. Brakes come off, as well as the hubs and bearings. Studs push out the rear of the hubs.

Its sound like a lot of work, however, once you get into it it goes fast.

I'm interested in 996 rims, too! When I purchased my 930, it had chrome BSA 215a rims on it and while it looked good, I just don't like chrome, especially in Hawaii. I stuck on a set of turbo Fuchs and found a 2" adapter up front to fit the BSAs and no additional spacer in the rear. Fast Forward 2 months and we have a PCA Concours yesterday. I spoke to an owner of a 88 930 and he had Rooke wheels off a 996 and he was not running any spacers! Anyone know what 996 wheels will be a direct fitment for an early 930?
