I agree; in certain locales, a 930 turns heads wherever you go. I certainly felt like that when I first purchased the car in Portland, OR. Here, in New England, it's a 50:50 thing. Half the time, people look. Half the time it flies under the radar. In L.A., I don't think anyone would even blink unless the car was on fire and attended to by no less than 7 firetrucks (to paraphrase Peter Egan).

What amazes me is the amount of young kids pointing and going 'wow' when they see my old girl.
Recently while I was fueling up, a wee boy and his father pull up along side, the boy says 'Wow Dad is that a racing car'!
The father pauses and looks over the 930 and quietly says to his son, 'Yeah it is'.
Big fan of 60's muscle cars, the V8 rumble of those beasts...puts the hairs up on the back of my neck... much like a throaty 911!
