extra gauge mount locations
I have a aem wb o2 gauge laying in my garage so I was thinking of putting it in my 79' 930. I can't see any really "clean" place to mount it though, anyone have some pics of good locations?
Thanks, Matt |

I would look at doing a 930 S center console. This is going to be your best bet.

I mounted my 02 gauge in place of the driver side air vent similar to the way that Andial did with their kit. I actually simply bought a electrical socket cover plate (blank), cut the required circle in the center, sprayed it black. I will look for some pictures. Came out really well (IMHO).

Do you know a source for these, other than luck with classifieds?

I have a cage in my car and I mounted mine on the front cage leg just above my other gauges. AutoMeter makes the mount for approx $20. Works great IF you have a cage handy but they also make a mount that will screw into your a pillar. No its not like the ricey a pillar gauge pods.

I can get raw fiberglass versions for you if you need. I am not sure who makes them anymore to be honest. Did you try right here at Pelican?
