Can you fit 9" fuchs on the front of a 79 930?

Can you fit 9" fuchs on the front of a 79 930, or will it have issues?
I know youca fit 8's but I was wondering if you go bigger than that on the front will you have to ahve a custum pair of wheels made up to allow for the things to fit under there with out issues.

Thanks in advance!

no one has the answer.. I guess I'll have to borrow a wheel from someone and try it out.

Well yes it is possible. Whether or not you'll have to change to a smaller spacer is the real concern. What tires are you planning on running?

I installed a rear 9'' on the front and had tire rubbing issues with the left front tire and fender on right hand turns. There are no spacers to remove.

An early turbo should have spacers on the front.

A Ruf 9" wheel has a few more millimeters of offset and fits.

There is a little variation from car to car, and from tire to tire, so you may just have to try it.

Thnaks, I have a buddy that has some 9's. I'll see if I can borrow one or both of them and give it a try.

Javadog, I just bought Ruf 9" wheels for the front and I hope it will fit. Are you running Ruf 9" wheel for the front now? If so, what tire size are you running? I'm planning on running 235 tire due to fear of rubbing.
