Badly running 930 1983 turbo

Guys , a little help needed

After being laid up for 3 months , car is running badly

1. running rich
2. will not pull past 2 to 3 thosand rev's under load , but will rev when there is no load

If you push accelerator just loses power slowly

Can anyone point me in the right direction and things to start checking in logical order ( seems that if i send to workshop - just seem to spend vast amount of cash !!!)

Also gearchange is very loose , assume that needs rebushing - any recommendations

1) spark
2) A/F

3) intake restriction
4) exhaust restriction (do you still have a cat?)

while running rich ?? Help me on the logic of that ....seems counterintuitive

Check fuel pressure at the WUR. It regulates the amount of fuel to the injectors and for whatever the reason, its dumping too much.

You got me there, I was just trying keep the number thing going :p.

It does sound like the WUR the way it's rich and won't rev.

I assume it was running well before it sat for 3 months.
CIS does not like to sit. The fuel head piston may be hanging up.

I would start by cleaning the entire fuel system and get rid of the old gasoline.
After that check your pressures.
If fuel system is good move to spark.
If spark is good look for mechanical or physical issues.
