Those boost figures are absolute, still a gasoline fueled engine running any significant time at 16psi has my vote. It's a significant achievement by todays standards and that was roughly 65 years ago.

Nope, but I am a member of the maintenance crew for a P51 and SBD, located at the Peachtree City airport. The cost of parts on my car was getting me down, so I decided to try something different and work on war birds.

I don't feel too bad about the cost of Porsche parts anymore.....
