Why are you repainting the rear bumper? is the exit pipe in a new location from the old one?

I'm soory...I don't know the American word.....for "decelerate"........when your engine "put...put..put..."...that was too much and I worried with the...police, crossing towns......

For the rear bumper, I did some little mods to adjust perfectly the width with the car and the new position (exact center) of the exhaust outlet....

Yes...I'm selling my stainless steel ZORK tube....

I know excatly what you mean when you say put,put,put.. its that DEEP low idle burlbe the zork has....yes.. I can see some police watching you in small towns .. that stinks though becuase nothing sounds better on a 930 than a zork.

Welding?

The "welds" are atrocious and have no place on a 930. Work harder - it's not that difficult.

Looks like he maybe using an arc welded (from the pic with the sawhorse) in which case they are not that bad... A grinder should fix that up!

Cheers

The set pictured is designed to work with the stock Euro or '86-'89 US heat exchangers with J-pipe.
Check out pictures and pricing at www.RarlyL8.com
I've got a set in satin and one (pictured) in full polish. Shoot me an e-mail if interested and I'll give you a good price for the set.

That is exactly the essence of a Zork - nice recording of the idle.

Sorry, I only have a little electric arc welding station and I used 3.2 mm stainless still sticks.....that was not really evident to do.......and the reason why the welds are "big" is only because I wanted to be sure that they will be enough strong and reliable....a professional factory would have done better work, working on neutral atmosphere with Argon.....but took me a lot of money and...so much time.....I'll clean them up a little bit and paint with hi temp black painting the pipe area....

Good idea for muffling the zork.
One suggestion would be that you are leaving HP on the table by using a flange to inlet pipe with an ID of less than 3". Replacing just that section with larger ID pipe would be noticable.
