Question clutch slippage issue

is it possible that the wrong clutch helper spring(on the trans) would give me slippage problems? I purchased the spring on e-bay and probably got whacked . the guy said it was for a 930 but im begining to wonder.

The helper spring should have no influence on clamping force. If properly installed, the helper spring (omega spring) does nothing when the clutch is engaged due to its on-center position. Be sure lever and pedal are returning completely and there is clearance between the two arms at the adjustment bolt on the tranny end. The short arm should have no pressure on in when the clutch is engaged.

Yes yes yes Although you might want to get a stage 2 to be safe if you are going to make 500lb/ft of tq.
