Mine is under my rear fender. Keeps the temptation at bay.

what does this switch do?

Mine is mounted on the center console, and it can click 4 times either to the left or to the right, mine was set 4 click to the right when I bought the car, it has been 2 years now since I own the car but I still don't know what that little knob is for and I am scare to touch it.

Niklas, do you know if your car has Andial fuel enrichment? If so, that looks like the knob to adjust the frequency. You might look under the passenger seat for the control module as that is where they are typically mounted.

OSI930 it has the Andial box under the seat. So how does this thing work if you don`t mind you asking.

OSI930 12-19-2007 05:55 AM

The knob controls the frequency valve duty cycle for fuel enrichment. All the way left is off, 1 step clockwise is 20% duty cycle which is minimum enrichment, 2nd step is 25%, 3rd step is 30%, and the 4th step clockwise is 40% duty cycle which is maximum enrichment. The system relies on a Hobbs switch to recognize boost pressure and is typically activated at 0.6 bar boost pressure. You can go to Andial.com to read more about it as they still list it on their website. I can email you the installation instructions as well.

Basically it lowers the fuel pressure from the WUR to the fuel head. This then enriches the air to fuel mix to the engine.

Basically it sucks... Andial's system only adds fuel in the midranges. Really does nothing positive up top where you need it. I'd get a good bearing on your A/F ratio to confirm that you are running within the safety zone.

Thanks for all your help. As i am considering other upgrades later on i might just not touch the switch for now. Car runs great and that is the main thing at the moment.

Cheers
Niklas
