I got a phone call once from a guy selling siding and windows. Told him I plucked chickens for a living, a nickel a bird. Can't afford new windows for the double wide right now and it doesn't have siding. He never called back ..

I'm 38 and started off as an accountant (what my college degree is in). I mostly worked as a Controller for manufacturing based companies. After one too many month end and year end close cycles, I decided that I was better suited to supporting the applications that I worked with. So I ended up in IT as a Business Analyst and Project Manager. So now I assist the business users with their application needs: reporting, changes, enhancements, etc. I work for Eaton Corporation.

I'm 29 and got a marketing degree 5 years ago. Got a marketing job in downtown Chicago and worked my way up. Then got so fed up with the whole thing i quit and decided to go back to school. Thought about getting my MBA but decide to go to school to become a Porsche tech. So i have 6 months to go and then if everything works out i will be going to Atl to be trained on all things Porsche.

Most days, I'm just your average LOSER, but some days, I'm a software developer.

I'd like to make a change though. Just don't know what to change to.

Work for a major international chem company. Will be retired in slightly over a year. Then I can take the 356 down to the bare metal and undo the Outlaw.

Retirement is over rated. I "retired" in 1999 at the age of 34. I get called back to do some long term contracts but that keeps me busy for about 18 months or so. Other than that, I watch my stocks on a daily basis and do my trading, check my properties and fuss around on the BMW and Porsche forums. It gets boring so I go and help my friend out at his shop everyday. (Gotta love free labor)

Retired as a command level agent with 30 years in the Dept. of Justice. Bought the Slant to work on to counter some of the boredom....then the TT. The 930 is concours material but I just can't seem to get excited about getting into corners with Q tips and getting dust out of the AC louvers.

This mix makes for interesting reading. I am a farm equipment dealer (30+ years), and farm a little on the side. So if you need a tractor......

Paul B (911nut)--you have an airedale in your avatar....my wife and I breed them.

Yeah baby, greatest dogs that there ever was. That's my 5 year old female Ginger from Woodsdale kennel in Sanford, Mi. She gets hand stripped every other week (no clippers for my beauty queen). I like my cars and my dog detailed to the nines.

What's the name of your kennel?
