I think the best(only?) choice would be Kuhmo VictoRacer V700 DOT-legal competition radial. (one of the most street friendly ive heard)

They have a odd dimension that should work fine.
265/45-16. section width 10.4". tread width 9.9". overall diam 25.3
on special sale on tirerack 136$

16x11 wheels

I believe they are Einmalig LLC in Huntington beach Ca. I have them on my slant and have been told by one of his techs that that is the origin

i would opt for 17s in whatever configuration that you like. and mount 315 or 335s on the rear. i run 335/35/17s on my 930 and they do fill the wheels nicely!

glad I saw this thread. dont have it running yet but I got a 78 930 clone, slant / widebody with 16" BBS. tires are good but dreaded ditching them with they wear out. two sets of rears and the 11" wide rims have bad tires (305).
