965 3.6 turbo owners!
I am on to my new project.. Does anyone know what thread the hot air fitting from the cat -air injection pump? is? Is this a spare part.. I have not tried to remove it from the cat yet but don't want to until I know for a fact it is available.. I then need to know the thread so I can have bungs machined.. Just looking to be safe as it is not my cat.. I am hoping somewhat standard so the fitting may be readily avialable..

Let me check an see if the 965 cat air injection connector on the bypass pipe I have is the same size as that of the 930.
If so I have one sawed off an old 930 cat that I can take to the hardware store and size.

***If Brian can't get it for you I'll have the thread size tomorrow afternoon. OEM cat is still here, just not near it at the moment***
I'm almost positive the fitting size is the same as the 930. 18x1.25 maybe???

To be clear not the 02 fitting but the air injection. I am looking to make it as simple as possible so if I don't have to have a fitting machined That saves time. It looks like the fitting is screwed in from the factory but I need to verify the part is a spare part. That way it will be simple to reproduce as a productio unit..

Ben, is this the fitting you need the thread size of(red arrow)??? got the stock 3.6 cat here, picture below:
![]() I'm currently home and don't have my pitch gauge here in from of me but I believe Ag02M5 was correct in saying 22x1.5 pitch. The thread OD measured out at 21.90mm I can get a solid pitch tomorrow if you still need it, I'll be at the garage then and post it here.
