Caught the boost bug-Again

Ok guys, I have been conversing with Merv( The resident Turbo Guru) for a while and have opted to toss in a .07 WG bar spring ( from my .05) and add an intercooler. All Parts have been ordered and will give updates shortly......

I figure I try this before dropping car back at protsport for a stage 2..

Wish me luck......

I hope you have fun with the wg spring as more boost usually rocks-
Why dont you try RPM North or if you dont mind taking a ride bring her to The Shop in CT. I think RPM North is near you and is where the master Eddie Bello works- he could hook up your car

The legend Eddie Bello? Cool.l remember the old days with him pulling the big wheelstands down the track. hey Ptoscano, are you keeping the stage 1 chip? the stage 2 adds more timing which is where most of it`s power comes from l believe. l run 10psi boost in my car with the stage one chip, full bay intercooler and adjustable FMU for lots of fuel...

You can raise the boost w/o going trough wastegate removal. Just fit a bleed device to lower hose and you're done. Or why not fit a boost controller? There are multitude of solutions rangin from cheap mechanical devices (Dawes device) to expensive electronic controllers.

+1 on boost controller. I really like my electronic HKS unit that I got from imagine auto.

sure, add a boost controller if you can control yourself. The spring is good because it simplifies things..
