Wow. All 7 of my my cars and the home were with All State for 10 years and I never b1tch about anything because I never checked. Then my wife got into it with a girl on the phone over proof of insurance. So sho decides to shop and found out that we were paying 2000 bucks more then AAA. The 930 was at $2100 per year. How the hell do you get it for so cheap? They wouldn't give me classic insurance. I am 2 years younger then you. I now have Grundy @ $900+ per year. No milage, and agree at $40,000.

You guys that have Geico, will they allow you to drive to starbucks or the market?

I pay $250/yr, my '83 930 comes up as a 911 SC, agreed upon value of I believe $25K, I'm 38 and went with higher deductibles, cannot drive over 4K miles per year, locked in garage, etc.

If you have progressive ,geico allstate, state farm or any other ins. that does not have a value set for your car such as a collector car ins. does that you both agree your car is worth and you have to have a major claim or a total loss you are going to be in for a suprise when they pay you what N.A.D.says the value is for a car that is 15 to 20 years old!

that's weird, I'd sell my car right now for high NADA retail..........minus the wheels

OH, I pay I think about $600 a year for the p, 800 for the lexus, and 500 for the toyota
but having the cars and house at the same company drops the home policy by $400 a year.

Wow, I used to have Hagerty's after all it is a Michigan company and McKeel is pretty cool, he sponsors lots of enthusiast events. One day my State Farm agent asked to look at all my coverages and he said I was paying too much for my car since I have a business with fleet insurance and the 930 is not my daily he cut my annual premium from 1470 with Haggerty's to $604 for an agreed value of 60k Haggerty's gave me a hard time to underwrite $40K.
FYI I am 37
Car 87 930
No mileage restriction
2mil coverage for ppi(it should be noted that I also have an umbrella policy that picks up where my auto leave off so I got a multi line discount)
1 ticket in 10years
Agreed value $60K ( I provided receipts for over 100K for the car and all the custom stuff done to it namely EFI, G50/50 etc fill in the blanks)

Schnele: $604 for agreed value of $60K? That's the best deal I've heard of. Do you have all your cars and house on the State Farm Policy? Perhaps they gave you a multiple car discount along with the house premiums? I know that AAA offered me a 10% reduction if I'd insure the house with them along with the cars...

I initially wanted an agreed value of $60K but I'm paying almost $4K a year for all the toys so I wanted to get the cheapest agreed value underwriter I could...plus Hagerty didn't hit me with all the restrictions like overnight garaging at someone else's house, 5,000 miles ok etc.
