I went thru trying 4 different I/C's (B&B, 965/C2, 2 Garretsons) before settling on the Garretson unit that 'only' requires changing to the C2 BOV. I wanted to keep the A/C, so that was big in my final decision. This is the last 'extra' I/C I have left - it actually looks to be a bit larger than the Garretson that I ended up using ('79-'89 replacement), and it will be an easy install. IMO everything that is sold by B&B is GARBAGE, and I'm sure you've read about Blown Six's recent issues - IMO Kokeln and Garretson/Andial are the only current I/C options worth a hoot, and neither is cheap.

It needs the following for a CIS 930:

C2 elbow from CIS w/hole for BOV
C2 BOV
~5" long, 2 3/4" diameter pipe to connect elbow and turbo inlet pipe (where diverter was)
Port tapped into I/C for BOV return
2 silicon hoses (short connector for I/C to T/B and long hose from turbo to I/C)

The top 2 parts are ~$100 total, and the rest should be no more than $60.

Thanks for the info, I didn't realize it was that inexpensive for the mods. I have it on my watch list. If the price is within my budget when the auction nears it's end I may go for it (I doubt it will be, just spent a lot on turbo, tensioners, wastegate, and a bunch of other stuff). I mentioned in another thread that the intercooler would be a project for later this year due to funds or lack thereof.

Got my turbo today, tensioners will be here Friday. Wastegate will be here within the next 2-3 weeks.

Well Pat, your intercooler went for more than I can afford right now. Thanks anyway.

My 86 has pressure fed.

Yeah,my 86' is pressure fed as well... Maybe it was a half year installation? Or maybe our cars were updated somewhere along the line? Who knows, I was in diapers when my car was built

Equality, take a picture of the grin on your face when you get her back together- Sounds like it is going to be a blast.
