Cgmeredithjr- I feel for you, I'm trying to help my parents out with their company (Krell ind.- home theater manufacturer) and the economy in general is killing us. I'm sure the gas prices are not helping much either.
If it is any comfort, at least yours runs, mine popped about a month ago and I don't have the money to fix it.

I can't believe that your parents' company is Krell. I'm an audiophile and very familiar with that brand. Sorry to hear about the company not doing too well. The entire audiophile industry is hurting.

Now I didnt say we were going under- we are still very very strong, Its just that these times are very bad compared with times passed. We just release our new Evolution 707 which is bad@ss. We are not going anywhere, its just that the economy is providing hard times.
I heard everyone is hurt as well- talked with my friend Ricardo in the U.K and he said the market there is dead too.

But this has nothing to do with Porsche, so PM me if you want to talk more about it.

Hahaha- Me too. I would make it like the rest of our products with the brushed aluminum cases and blue LEDs- and possibly a speaker in the middle to tell the tuner that his tune sucks haha.

Ricardo from Absolute Sounds?

The mkt here in the UK is dead also. And I guess it's not only gas prices but this i-pod revolution...

I must say I resisted it until the end... but these days my Krell CD + power amp and Martin Logan speakers combo just sit there unused.

And so even if they are 10 yrs old right now I cannot justify upgrading to the current models.

Good luck to your family... I absolutely love my Krell componets!

Is that an air box going into the trunk - almost touching the gas tank - to allow air flow behind the front oil cooler ?

Yes, the air enters the center of the bumper in the air box and then exits through the oil coolers which are located in front of the wheels at each side of the front bumper a la 993 GT2.
