You guys are effing crazy. There is no way i would try to stop them. Sure, I have insurance on myself and my car but it's a whole lot less painful to fix a car. Not to mention the life long side effects of his injuries.

I guess I'm still at the age where I think I'm indestructible... although I've recently started to realize that things hurt more the older I get, and the things I mess up cost more to fix as well...

That is one hell of a lot of inertia hitting this guy. Looks like they put down some rubber on him while he was pinned.
In high school I worked as a tire changer. We did spin balance at 70MPH without a safety hoop. I had one get loose one night and I did what I was told to do, crawl under the workbench! Wow, sure made me a believer, I say the Porsche can be replaced! You jump in between a loose tire and your Porsche and having children would no longer be a consideration. |

I sheered the studs off one axle of my drag car one evening years ago while horsing around on the street. My wheel and tire were found a block away in a Hardee's parking lot. I thank God it was late and no one was around to get in its way.

I value walking and leg movement more than my 930, so I guess I take choice C!
I can always mash the clutch pedal on another 930 my insurance would buy for me ![]()

Ouch.
Obviously C. Those things weigh a lot. I would not be surprised if that guy never fully recovers. My daily driver is a motorcycle. I always have a fear when passing trucks that the tire will blow off and hit me. (I also have that fear when i see people with a really bad unbalance or bent/loose wheel). This video doesn't make me feel good. |

This video was never meant to make anyone feel good. I just thought most of us guys have thought about how far we would go to save our babes. I would say more so than anything that that guy has some serious bad luck. He would be the type to get hit by lightning.
Anyway- I'm changing some fuel lines tomorrow. I have escaped most accidents up to this point. Don't want to see her burn. I have no Idea when any of those hoses have been R and R'd. give them the ol bend test and see if they cracks and crevices. Thought about those lately???? TGIF Bob

I heard that guy was hit by lightning later in the video......I think the video was clipped!
Those tires look like they might have come off a 930 turbo with the dually package that Harley Ableson guy was trading up his sister, uh I mean wife, uh I mean the same person for.
