New Carpet ??

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good Auto Upholstery shop in Connecticut? Near Hartford would be good!

Does anyone have experience doing their own re-carpet job. I have 1983 911 Cabriolet.

How hard would it be to do myself?
Should I use some kind of dyna mat for sound dampening?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks
Dante

I just bought two rolls at Pep Boys for $37 including the spray on Glue.. We did Chris Bennet's and it's really pretty easy.. Of course this only works if you're doing black ( the only color they sell)..

DSM (<-----Thats funny)
There is a really good upholstry shop across from the Porsche of Fairfield showroom. When I used to work there we sent all of our cab-top jobs to him and he did a steller job.
I dont know the name of the shop, but the guy who owns it is named Greg.
Ill find out and let you know

DSM,
I used to have a Galant VR-4 and I was on the forums (I think it was DSMtuner.com or somthing) and my user name was 930turbo. Unless that dont stand for the mitsubishi/talon designation, I just thought it was funny that somone else used the name to their other car for there screen name.
