Kokeln Intercooler
Why are the Kokeln intercoolers so expensive? 2K seems extremely high to me.
Is there anything special about their product vs others? Has anyone ever used bell to make a half bay intercooler? |

I used to have a Kokeln setup- it worked very well in my car (ran it at 18 psi at all times).
I dont know about the price as I got mine used. Bell makes a hell of an intercoler and they are reasonably priced- I would give them a call. Either intercooler would be a good choice, but bell could make you one that could really kick @ss

Kokeln were all the rage 3 years ago or so. I had been off this forum for a long time and when I came back I wondered why nobody talked about them anymore. I guess it may be because there are so many cheaper alternatives now compared to the Kokeln.

i think they are still a great i/c but the price has gotten pretty stout. i paid $1700 3 or so yrs ago. i think the value of the u.s. dollar has weakend the value prop of the kokelin i/c as compared to domestically made units.
it remains an efficient unit. |
