MFI engine died! Fuel filter or ??

Hi guys - I need a little help

My 2.4S has been sitting for about a year in a dry and heated garage. Has been started every second month for a few minutes. Was allways running pefect. Tank is about 1/5.

Yestereday when I wanted to run it - it started a little slower than usual but came on fine eventually. I ran it for 3-4 min and everything was fine. Then suddely it lost power. No response from thottle - and finally it died.

Tried to start again - not a single sign of life. Also no smell of gass.

My guess is that the fuel filter may be blocked. Is that likely ?
Or is it more likely to be the tank filter ?
Any other suggestions ?

Thanks
Peter

Hey Peter, sorry to hear of your woes but better to post this in the 911 tech forum as most of us in here run CIS or EFI not MFI. Good Luck.
